Kerr Mill, Sloan Park, NC
At one point, we lived in Salisbury, NC, and we often took our dogs for walks at nearby Sloan Park, where I also enjoyed making photographs. The watermill in the park dates back to around 1823. I believe I’ve posted about it before.

I’d forgotten you lived in Salisbury, NC. I just love it that some people have realized our idea of development destroys nature. They have also taken steps to allow nature to develop in it’s own way. Three cheers for the parks!!
Yeah, we were living in Salisbury when we sold our house and started RVing. Colorado Springs has taken outdoor recreation, preserves and parks to another level than what you find here. At least that’s my opinion. But then this area is growing so fast it’s probably hard to find time to plan it out.
