Sure I’ve gotten images I really like but it was because my travels put me at locations where there are rich opportunity for good photos, NOT perhaps because I created opportunities from the environment.

I’m envisioning photography to be a means of documenting the mobile lifestyle as well as some of the interesting sights in the areas we visit. But my perspective on it…

So these days when I’m feeling tumbled about by life’s daily trials and opportunities, I try to remember to hold my place on the starting line and be focused on the goals ahead.

I look upon international coach air travel as slow torture. Put me on a long enough flight and I’ll tell you anything, promise you anything, simply to disembark. A large part of my view on this comes from being tall with long legs and the airlines shrinking the spacing between rows to get as many of us “cattle” as possible on a plane.
