A revisit to photos from this past March taken at the PhotoWild event at the Carolina Raptor Center turned up a couple more I liked but had never done anything with.
A little recent Lightroom filing shook out a few iPhone photography shots made during this summers daily mountain bike single-trek walks.
Intermittent software issues with my main computer, a local hard drive failure in a back-up unit, setting up a DLNA media server with an older Mac Mini, and replacing a noisy fan on a NAS unit has kept me engaged on the technical front recently.
Bonnie and I recently have visited a couple of the local vineyards in the area which happen to also serve lunch. These short visits provide us the enjoyment a few hours in our “retirement convertible,” even tho we really can’t fully retire yet, while still returning us home before afternoon or evening storms have fully panic our dog Maggie. It’s also resulted in the discovery of some pretty good food.
During all of the recent heat, rain and high humidity we’ve been having I’ve observed an over abundance of mushrooms along the trails of my morning walks.
