Since I’ve mentioned we have been staying in Carrabelle, FL, and that Carrabelle is a small fishing port/town, I felt I should post a few photos supporting that fact.

If you’re a believer in the theory of evolution then all life originated in the ocean/sea. I put forth there also might be an argument made that the love of nomadic living also originated in the ocean as the above far, far, far distant cousin of an “RV’er” in the photo above might demonstrate. :-)
I use to believe (or perhaps hoped) there would come a day when I would know all there was to know about myself and with that full insight I’d have a clear path mapped out for the future. Now as I reach my mid-sixties I realize how wrong I was to believe that nonsense.

The following are a few scenes which might be found on most beaches. These particular photos are from Carrabelle Beach along the gulf coast of the Florida Panhandle.
Probably will always be one of my happier memories of our dog Maggie, a time when she seemed to be really having fun. She loved running in the shallow surf and chasing the local sea birds.
Maggie loves walking in the surf along the beach and wading deeper at a sandbar where the beach comes to a point and the water remains shallow well out from shore. Of course she usually gets a walk at least once per day and these photos represent a few of the sights from one of these walks. From the beach access point we normally walk toward the more deserted end of the beach eastward…
