Gmorning November

November
“Gmorning
November
You lurch & you lumber
From bonfire to ember
From waking to slumber
You deaden the grass
& you piss in the pot
The birds all haul ass
And the pumpkins all rot
Remember, November:
Momentous elections
Ignite us, divide us,
Divine new directions
November—
Chill.
Gnight, November
Come in from the cold
We’re making hot cocoa
with WHOLE milk: we’re bold.
CHILL, November. CHILL.”
― Lin-Manuel Miranda

Yes, welcome November! There is much going on as we move into the slumber of winter. They forgot to mention the leftover candy! It is cold and gray here today. Love the photo!
We must have been leaving comments on each other’s blogs at about the same time. It’s a nice day here —sunny and 65°F at the moment, with a little breeze. We don’t do Halloween candy anymore, since almost no one stops in our neighborhood. Thanks, and the photo was taken just above the fern patch in our backyard.
