No quote. No deep philosophical subject within this post. Only a photo of a bush I came upon and found interesting while walking in the woods. It especially looked a little strange from a distance. The bush had lost all of its own leaves but seems to have taken on the burden of a good…

Bonnie and I recently have visited a couple of the local vineyards in the area which happen to also serve lunch. These short visits provide us the enjoyment a few hours in our “retirement convertible,” even tho we really can’t fully retire yet, while still returning us home before afternoon or evening storms have fully panic our dog Maggie. It’s also resulted in the discovery of some pretty good food.

I discovered this appealing lighting display above the entryway of a recent hotel we stayed in. The bright blue of the sky through the windows and the warm yellow glow of the lighting shades complemented each other, while the straight edges/lines and rounded curves provided an interesting visual contrast.

I love this. Two images that tell a story of words for me: creation, growth, patience, fruition, and what we all can become. Again, well done!!!
Thanks, Monte!
