Spring “Song”

The Eastern Redbud blooms and Box Elder caught my eye, and I was inspired to make a few photos. Although I wanted to capture their beauty with my camera, I also didn’t want to spend too much time photographing them, as I was enjoying watching them more.

Hillside Fern Project Update, Mar 2024
2024-03-154 CommentsI’m pleased to report that my fern hillside project has faired well over the winter. The cover I put in place last fall protected them from frostbite while allowing the majority of sun and rain through. One fern might not make it, but I suspect its survival would have been doubtful even in milder temperatures. It’s the second one in that particular spot that’s not faired well. A Mess Somewhat Fixed
2024-03-154 CommentsThe “Meandering Passage” website underwent a drastic format change a few days ago. There was almost no site at all. I’ll give the short version here, but I’ll state upfront that much of it, if not all, was my fault through carelessness and inattention. It began when I noticed the site had gotten slower and that there were a number of updates awaiting to be applied. Here’s a recap.
