October, Already!

You know those days when you feel like you’re “up a tree”—not in a peaceful, leafy, squirrel-watching way, but in the “I’ve climbed too high, things are getting scary, and now how do I get down?” kind of way? Yeah, me too.

Let’s be honest: life is not always a smooth stroll through the park. At times, it’s a mad dash up the nearest trunk to escape the rabid chihuahua of confusion nipping at your heels. You scramble upward, hoping for perspective, but all you find is a tangle of branches and a squirrel with excellent judgmental side-eye determined to protect his nuts. That’s kind of how the whole world feels more days than I like to count now.

Even if you just want to watch a little news, it’s like you’ve entered some kind of “Bizarro World,” where nothing makes sense, or it’s all backward. Those of you who are well-read will recognize that DC/Superman comics reference.

So, being the resourceful gent I am, I thought, while I’m up here dodging those squirrels, I might as well make a photo. Welcome to October 2026, already!
