Fourth of July: 250 Years And Forward

| | | |
"Let us be patient with one another,
And even patient with ourselves.
We have a long, long way to go.
So let us hasten along the road,
The road of human tenderness and generosity.
Groping, we may find one another's hands in the dark."

Happy 4th of July, the 250th Anniversary edition!

Let’s take a moment to acknowledge and celebrate the 250th anniversary of this nation and all those who have contributed positively to its journey!

However, this is not the final destination; rather, it is a milestone along a longer journey of promise. After recent setbacks, we must again move forward to reaffirm and secure the principles that state all people — not just one group — are created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights. These include the rights to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

Nope, we’re not anywhere near a final destination.
