This past weekend, we met up with friends from Atlanta, GA, in Greenville, SC, which is a midpoint for us. We enjoyed a beautiful early spring Saturday afternoon with temperatures around 70 degrees. We spent the day admiring the downtown waterfalls and exploring the local shops, wine bars, and restaurants. Many other people were enjoying the day as well, so it was also a grand occasion for people watching.

That looks so inviting. We are still snow covered but it’s starting to melt. Nice shot, Earl.
Yeah, it was nice to be outside in just shirt sleeves, and my spring allergies were not a factor yet. I hope you soon have some similar days, Ken.
Beautiful way to spend a spring day! I am always glad to see cityscapes that include nature among its towering buildings. Even if we have altered the path of the river and falls. For some that is as close as it gets to a natural area. As Ken says it is an inviting scene and then mentioned restaurants….
It was a good day, and the city river and waterfall are attractions and interesting points for Greenville, SC. There was a big crowd enjoying the beautiful day.
I’ve been to that park! On our drive to FL we had to stop at a vet for Buddy (bout of pancreatitis) and went to the park while he was being tended to and out of sedation. It’s a pleasant area.
It is a lovely area. Greenville, SC, has become popular with retirees, thanks to good tax laws for retirees in SC, the many conveniences of the city itself, and the nearby Appalachian Mountains. Hopefully, Buddy made a full recovery.
