These photos were all taken from the yard of the small guest house we stayed in in Vermont (seen in the last image). They differ from the previous Vermont fall photos in this series in that they are a little less documental and perhaps more subjective, yet each says fall to me. As such, I took a little more liberty with post-processing them. The guest house is a wonderfully renovated cabin built in the 1800s, retaining many unique features while providing modern comforts.
We spent two and a half days of our road trip in Vermont; however, this story doesn’t end here, as there are still backroads to explore and sights to see. I must confess that Vermont will always hold a piece of my heart.

I really do like this series of images. I think you captured the feel of fall. I especially like the waterfall image. I can understand how Vermont will always hold a piece of your heart.
