We entered Vermont in heavy rain, and our GPS routed us to our destination via a dirt road “shortcut,” which meant that our car looked like it had already endured a long winter without washing. This was good because, from that point forward, we did not hesitate to turn down any dirt road that caught our attention for the rest of our explorations. Some of our most treasured memories and “best” photo opportunities were along these dirt roads, plus there was so little traffic that you could stop almost anywhere.
After a productive day and a late lunch, we decided to check out the Orvis Outlet in Manchester Center to see if there were any bargains. I had put away my camera, but as we got out of our parked car, the scene in the last photo of this post caught my eye, and I captured it with my phone.

I love that last image from the parking lot, no matter which camera took it. I love dirty cars!!
It would be challenging to caption that scene poorly. Then, our car on this trip would have swept you off your feet. Haha!
Really fantastic views – especially that mountainside – even if just from a parking lot. Thanks for sharing all of your images from this great trip.
Thanks, Mark, I appreciate it. I tried to find a balance, but I felt I was approaching over-sharing with eight posts and multiple images from this trip.
