I know well what you are talking about. Sometimes when I’m engrossed in shooting, I’m actually ignoring nature. I’m learning to be more present to those buds!! However, I am glad you were inspired to take a couple of images.
Plus, I failed to mention it was below freezing yesterday morning, so that was an extra incentive not to linger outside photographing in shirt sleeves. 😁
