“The first bud of spring sings the other seeds into joining her uprising.”
― Amanda Gorman
This morning, I enjoyed watching the early morning sun shine through the woods behind our house, highlighting the clear signs of a coming spring. The Eastern Redbud blooms and Box Elder caught my eye, and I was inspired to make a few photos. Although I wanted to capture their beauty with my camera, I also didn’t want to spend too much time photographing them, as I was enjoying watching them more.
I know well what you are talking about. Sometimes when I’m engrossed in shooting, I’m actually ignoring nature. I’m learning to be more present to those buds!! However, I am glad you were inspired to take a couple of images.
Plus, I failed to mention it was below freezing yesterday morning, so that was an extra incentive not to linger outside photographing in shirt sleeves. 😁
Very nice light Earl, I can see why they caught your attention!
Thanks, Mark!
