American Goldfinch

Birds make flying seem so effortless. This Goldfinch only visits our feeder once in a while, but it is such a splash of color when it does.

  1. I’m like you, my friend. So amazing to see birds fly. Some soar while some dart everywhere. Some have beautiful songs to share and some just seem to be noisy annoyances. I am at this time in my life enjoying time observing them, getting to know them. Bought a pair of binoculars and love them.

    • I don’t have a decent pair of binoculars that would be any good for birdwatching, but I don’t know if I’d use them enough to justify the purchase. But I do love to see birds flitting about with more grace than I can master walking. Take care!

  2. I wish I learned such feats so easily. :-)
