Solvitur ambulando,” St. Jerome was fond of saying. To solve a problem, walk around.

Sunrise walk – Scene from this mornings walk – iPhone photo, 06/17/2021

I often walk in search of answers, solutions, or inspiration, even if I’m not sure what the problem is.  If clarity doesn’t find me I still feel better for the effort.

  1. Amazing glow you’ve captured! Funny that recently I’ve taken on this challenge of walking 10,000 steps a day so I’ve been getting in quite a few walks myself lately.

    • Ten thousand steps a day is a pretty lofty and worthy goal, Howard. I know you see results from your efforts. Before a recent knee issue slowed me down, I hit 8-10k steps a day and could tell the difference. Yeah, my older iPhone XR did an acceptable job of capturing the sunrise glow, but it was definitely better in person. :-)
Here it is Friday already…I hope you have a great weekend!

  2. I have this belief the world would be a more loving and compassionate place if we all took early morning walks in the quiet. Wow, on the glow of the sunrise! We don’t even need a problem!

    • You might be right about the morning walks, Monte, but it sure would be harder to be alone and find those quiet places if EVERYONE did. ;-) Thanks!
