Oak Leaf Hydrangea (Hydrangea Quercifolia)
The Oak Leaf Hydrangea is native (first discovered in 1770) to the southeastern United States and can be generally found from North Carolina down to Florida. It’s often used as a potted plant, an ornamental shrub, or as a hedge found in gardens as well as parks. It does require some care.
We have several of these on the side of our house. Beautiful plants. Your photo does it justice!
Thanks, Howard. Yes, they are attractive plants.
Awesome, my friend! I agree with Howard, you’ve done it justice. I like how nature puts on these wonderful shows. And sometimes, I believe it’s just for us photographer, because we’re now looking.
Thanks, Monte, but I have to confess; I posted this primarily so I wouldn’t have to view Maggie’s photo on the front page each time. Too painful.
Totally understand!
