A sample of one of my recent explorations. I don’t have any good ideas for a name for this work. One name I thought of was “Abstract mouse pad with coffee cup ring.” That’s when I decided it was probably time to push away from the screen and take a little break. ;-)
I’m open to a suggestion on it’s naming as long as it’s not rude or crude.
I get an ice crystal, otherworldly, planetary (the ring) nebula fantasy feel from this Earl.
Or Coffee with some psilocybin mushrooms …
Either way…
I’m not sure I was going for any specific vibe when I started this piece, Mark. Heck, often when I do start with an idea or vision, it gets sidetracked. So, I went into the process unassuming and tried to see what I could find. The coffee with psilocybin mushrooms might certainly aid the process. I’ll take it under consideration! :-)
Otherworldly is right! However, the name describes it quite well.I think it’s pretty darn kool!
Thanks, Monte. It does fit in the “otherworldly” category. :-)
To me it looks like something you might find frozen on a cold winter morning. Window pane, bird bath? Call the ring lens flare or a halo, perhaps. It would definitely look good printed on metal, I’d say.
Tom, you’re probably right about the metal or maybe glass. Thanks.
I wouldn’t know what to call it either – but I like it! And “abstract mouse pad with coffee cup ring” made me laugh, as a bonus. ;)
I’m glad you saw the humor with my naming comment, Alexander. There’s no charge for bonus laughs!
I’m pleased you like it. I think it shall remain known as “1020.1” for now. Heck, model number “R2D2” was good enough for a key character in Star Wars. ;-)
I like this. A lot. How about…
Soft whispers from a muse.
Thanks, Cedric, I like it! :-)
