While Maggie enthusiastically sniffed among the grass and trees, I managed to make this quick photo of nature’s work still bearing the raindrops from yesterday evening’s storm.  Now that I’m past the worst of my spring allergies I can begin to enjoy the outside again.

  1. You can feel the cool moisture in this shot! Let spring begin in earnest!

  2. Last night I overheard my wife mentioning during a phone conversation “it’s going to be 90 degrees next week…”

If I was a cartoon character, you would see a big bold question and explanation marks above my head. The moments of spring or autumn for that matter that I enjoy never seem to last long enough.

Anyway, your photo reminded me at least I have the rain to look forward to. Hope you enjoy a time of “mental clarity” at least, some time away from the allergy meds. :-)

    • The nineties…OMG…I had to quickly check our 10-day forecast and we’re coming close with 86º today but please not 90º yet! 😅 Maybe it’s my faulty memory but I distinctly remember a time where there were four somewhat equal seasons. I sure do miss that.

Mark, these days I’m suspicious of any moment of “mental clarity” as more than likely a passing senior moment. But I’ll take it! Haha

I hope you guys have a great Memorial Day weekend! Find some fun but be safe, stay well.

  3. We’ve been having nice weather the past week. This morning is cloudy and may see rain this afternoon. This image does give the feel of a cool fresh spring morning. Love the colors!

    • It’s East Coast hot and humid just now…89º, feels like 92º, with heat lighting strikes over a wide general area. It may be building up to some significant thunderstorms 🌩 a little later on. At least today summer is upon us. Thanks about the photo. I hope your Memorial Day weekend is good, Monte. 🎖
