While walking a dog it’s easy to get locked into looking down or seldom above ground level. This morning I was rewarded for taking a few moments to turn my eyes skyward to view some interesting clouds. Reminds me of a lesson PBS Painter Rob Ross might have done on painting wispy clouds using a cotton ball. :-)
A ghostly, ethereal look to this. We all need to look up more often.
I agree, Joe. I’ll try to look up more often now. I can only think there must have been some interesting crosswinds shredding these clouds. This image was only a small portion of a similar whole sky.
Yes, the need to look up and behind. That’s one of the gifts photography has given me, a greater vision. And, when we are focusing on clouds it’s a constantly changing view.
Agree…Monte! Have a good weekend.
These do indeed look like cotton ball clouds!
I am quite a bit behind in my blog reading. The loss of Willow has hit me pretty hard this past month or so. Heck, I haven’t even updated my own blog with all the struggles with her health over the summer. Every time I sit down to perhaps do an update, I end up scrapping it.
Understandable, Mark. There are only a few days I don’t think of our ‘Foster’ and we lost him back in 2012. Heck, I’m even still carrying a page on him under the about tab of Meandering Passage…can’t make myself delete it. I never knew Willow but I know she was special but she was also lucky to have you guys as family.
