A quick phone snapshot through our back window this morning captures two of nine Whitetail Deer slowly making their way through the nearby woods. We’ve seen lesser numbers on several occasions. They often come within 15 feet of our residence…very little fear. Maggie alertly watches them while every once in a while looking and quietly whining to me to see what she should do. I encourage her to relax and enjoy our forest friends beauty but she has a hard time relaxing in this situation. She’d much rather be giving chase! :-)
Some of us have the good fortune to live in an area where nature is a wonderful part of our daily life. Gratitude!
