Bonnie and I recently have visited a couple of the local vineyards in the area which happen to also serve lunch. These short visits provide us the enjoyment a few hours in our “retirement convertible,” even tho we really can’t fully retire yet, while still returning us home before afternoon or evening storms have fully panic our dog Maggie. It’s also resulted in the discovery of some pretty good food.

Google hates “unnatural links” — even if you don’t know what they are.
The following recent experience is being shared for those who might find themselves in a similar situation with Google’s efforts to improve their link search content.
I’ve used Google’s Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics for years to track Google’s indexing of this blog and those visitors it receives. They’ve both been useful tools allowing me to fix minor issues with this site and to understand which posts are generating the greatest interest on the internet.

Travels this week took us just below the dam located between High Rock Lake and the Tuckertown Reservoir along the Yadkin River in North Carolina. Taking advantage of a public park/access point we pulled over to see how high water levels might be with the frequent rains we’ve been experiencing.
