A couple of Christmas wreaths caught around our small town, from my own perspective of course.

Now the obligatory photography is out of the way…I’m pleased to announce our second grandchild, Lily Kathleen, arrived Wednesday afternoon and is doing awesome! She’s a little thing of beauty, not quite five pounds, but was born with her eyes open ready to take on the world. Heaven help those who get in her way.
The proud father and his new daughter is pictured above.
Grandchild No. 1, George, is growing like a weed and starting to build his own social media brand…see below. I understand he’s tough to work for, but fair.
To my readers: Worry, not…this site will not turn into a doting grandparent site…just this once celebrating their safe and healthy arrival in this special season. :-)
No worries here, you can boast’n post all you want, grandpa! I like dad’s grin, goes from ear to ear.
Oh, and congratulations!
Thanks, Monte. Yes he’s one proud papa and we so very happy everything’s okay.
Congratulations, Earl! Boy and a girl–matched set of grandkids!
Eric, Thanks. That’s right and only a couple of months apart.
That’s fine by me, Earl. Go ahead and be a proud grandpa! You can bet that I will just as soon as I become one. A big, hearty congratulations to you and your family!!! I love the smile on dad’s face – that’s what they call one of those ear-to-ear grins, and deservedly so!
Now, as for that George fellow, he looks like he will be a tough taskmaster; hopefully hard, but fair. :)
Paul, Thanks. Oh I’ll have to keep “myself” under control on the photos.
Congratulations, grand kids are a real blessing!
Steve, Thanks, and yes they are!!! :-)
I don’t think you’ll find anybody complaining about grandchildren photos on your blog, Earl! And if they do I’m sure you’ll be glad to refund their money. :) You’ve got a lot to be proud of and thankful for this year, and we’re thrilled for you and Bonnie!
Tom, Thanks. Nope, there’s a no money back policy on this blog…and I’ll see to it everyone gets everything they paid for! :-)
Nothing wrong with being a doting grandparent. Bring on the photos.
Congratulations Earl. Gotta love that last pic :)
A very warm congratulations to you and your family! Those are wonderful images of your grandchildren and I look forward to seeing lots more in 2013!
