The benefit to using a Windows machine is that you can actually remove it from a Windows machine. If you get malware on a Mac and ask for tech support, the appropriate response from the tech support is to laugh at you for several hours, because it’s about as productive as trying to remove malware from a Mac. Linux…well, Linux is…Linux.
That’s not been my experience. I’ve had to completely reload Windows before to get full functionality back. I’ve never had to do that with OS X. Just saying…
yeah, i see this Microsoft AD for the 1st time. I run Fedora Linux, just good, virus/spy-ware free!
Mustn’t forget 99% of Linux users have used Windows in their lives, more than Linux. I too use Linux.
