Perhaps it’s not the best of times to do a blog post after being awake most of the night with Maggie trying to find a hiding place in our bed as thunderstorms and rain pelted the area. She was trembling and shaking so badly it felt like one of those old vibrating beds with an unlimited supply of quarters. Do you remember those beds?
Yesterday, an uneventful 210 mile drive brought us to Hardeeville, SC, half-way to our final job training destination of Myrtle Beach, SC. We’ll stay here a few days before continuing on to Myrtle Beach for a week of training.
One of the advantages of RVing is having a familiar roof over your head, no matter where you may travel. Unfortunately, without some TLC that familiar roof may not feel so cozy as it begins to look worn, dirty or perhaps leak!
Opportunity can be just a few steps away and may begin by walking across the way to offer help to someone else. Conversations ensue…
So, if I had to define one thing about this RV lifestyle odyssey I’d now say it’s about collecting stories. Some are historical stories and facts, some are stories as evidenced by natural wonders and there are those personal stories found when you least expect them.
