We’re in the process of wrapping up our second week of updating the guest guide for Keystone State Park in Oklahoma. It’s been overall enjoyable staying here.
At the end of the path Maggie and I take most morning and evenings for a walk there’s a large electrical transformer/switching station. While we photographers have a rule of thirds for composing an image the number three is well represented among the power industry as well.
The battlefield still remains mostly a pine forest looking much as it must have in 1864. With the terrain being generally flat and the local pines tall, slim and well spaced, I can only imagine how fluid, confusing and scary the roaming battle…
Sure I’ve gotten images I really like but it was because my travels put me at locations where there are rich opportunity for good photos, NOT perhaps because I created opportunities from the environment.
