Spain – Summary and thoughts on travel in general
Reading can be great preparation for travel but it can’t take its place. Reading about the world and not directly experiencing it can be like going to a great restaurant, ordering their most popular dish and then watching someone else eat it for you.

Olympus OM-D: Get a better grip with the HLD-6 Battery Grip
Sometimes a plus can also be a minus. Those with full sized hands and previous experience with full sized D-SLR’s, may find when operating the Olympus OM-D it feels a bit small…lacking grip.
Now I’ve used my OM-D extensively and have never dropped it but I’m always aware the “grip” is not as good as with my full size camera. I found a workable solution to this issue in the Olympus HLD-6 Battery Grip.

A couple of Christmas wreaths caught around our small town, from my own perspective of course, and the arrival of the second grandchild of the year.
Hoping
Photographically I’ve been experimenting a little using some of the lens I own but in the course of daily activity seldom use. This usually means using prime, wide angle or telephoto lens with ether my Nikon D600 or the Olympus OM-D. It’s been interesting but the results have varied.
