Here and now
In a couple of days our time at Cedar Key RV Resort, Cedar Key, Florida, will be coming to an end. Two years ago we loved our visit to this park and we’ve wondered if our impressions would be different upon coming back.

IF HOBBITS RV’ed…too cute!

We’ve been enjoying the warmer than usual Cedar Key weather and are now fully switched over to shorts and tee-shirts…By now we would or should have planned our 2017 travels for the remainder of the year. However, the planning for this year has been difficult…

Maggie was pretty bummed out about not being able to dive from the dock.

Today we visited nearby Lafayette Blue Springs State Park. The spring is one of Florida’s 33 first magnitude springs and is a system of karst windows which navigate across the park landscape feeding into the Suwannee River. The variable flow rate of the springs averages 13 million to 168 million gallons per day.

After yesterday’s 190 mile drive due south from Perry, Georgia, we find ourselves again in Florida, along the Suwannee River. We’d travelled and stayed not terribly far from here during our 2015 RV adventures so the landscape seems familiar.
