One of the technical gizmos I added this year to our arsenal of travel tools was a dashboard video camera…although technically ours isn’t mounted on the dashboard but instead to the upper windshield, behind the rearview mirror.
Maggie was pretty bummed out about not being able to dive from the dock.
Today we visited nearby Lafayette Blue Springs State Park. The spring is one of Florida’s 33 first magnitude springs and is a system of karst windows which navigate across the park landscape feeding into the Suwannee River. The variable flow rate of the springs averages 13 million to 168 million gallons per day.
After yesterday’s 190 mile drive due south from Perry, Georgia, we find ourselves again in Florida, along the Suwannee River. We’d travelled and stayed not terribly far from here during our 2015 RV adventures so the landscape seems familiar.
While here in Perry, GA, we’ve been planning our travels for the rest of 2017, following a couple of months in Florida.
