No matter what you’re political allegiances I have to believe having the presidential elections over is a relief at least on some level.
No more non-stop negative political ads and coverage.

This past week I spent time interviewing and then training my replacement for the IT Manager position at the non-profit agency I’ve been working at. The new person’s going to be good and the agency was indeed lucky to have found him.
I’ve been in the process of evaluating a Nikon D600 FF camera as a possible upgrade to my D700. That’s code for renting before buying.
Here’s a few observations based upon my experience with using the Nikon D700 for a few years.
I’ve noticed a few website’s either down or very slow. Even this blog, physically hosted at a data center in the New England area, was down for a short while earlier this morning. The images and stories coming out of the storm (Sandy) main impact areas are shocking.
