Drivin’ Around – Eric Carmen/David Smalley

At 6 pm this evening I drove 25 miles for dinner with a friend and fellow blogger.

During the drive my cars external thermometer was registering 104-105F.  The “Real-Feel” today was near 110 deg. F.  That’s very hot for North Carolina.

In addition to the heat, the humidity is about 60% making the air feel physically heavy.  You have to remind yourself to take a breath when  the combination of heat and humidity first hit you.

The forecast is for another 100 deg day tomorrow.  Yes, its long hot days…
