I’ve not visited many of my normally daily read websites in the last week or so. I’ll claim I’ve been busy but honestly looking back I sometimes wonder what I’ve been busy with.
It’s the Thanksgiving holiday here in the U.S this week, Thursday.

beautiful composition! nice capture
Olivier, thank-you!
The sections of the gazebo do have a pronounced effect on the picture that is very enhancing. Nice job of seeing how it could be used. A fine shot.
Don this composition “hit me” as I stepped into the gazebo. While my lens was only wide enough to capture three windows there was of course a full eight windows, 360 degrees. I didn’t have a tripod with me or I might have tried a panorama. :-)
Really nice composition Earl.
Hey, thanks, Mark!
Outstanding effect. A gorgeous triptych. At times that splitting of an image feels arbitrary and forced, but you have achieved a natural one that is completely satisfying. The balance in exposures in right on target.
Triptych..for the life of me I couldn’t recall that word as I was writing this post.
Anita, thank you for the kind comments regarding this image and for finding the missing word piece in my memory puzzle that’s been haunting me. :-)
That looks like a beautiful park. And spending your lunch hour there must be wonderful. Watching the change of season and seeing the first snowbells and crocuses sprout is one of my favourite things.
I find taking my camera for walks is a good way to keep it healthy and taking good images, like this one. :-)
Earl,
Beautful photo. I love benches and wooden structures. Very warm and inviting.
