From comments I know many who read this blog also follow Anita Jesse’s Through My Lens blog. Having not heard from Anita for a while, I send her a wellness check email and received a reply from her last night. I hope she doesn’t mind I’m sharing this but I thought some of you would like to know…she’s been down in her back for some time and is having spinal surgery in LA this Wednesday. She hopes to be back blogging soon.
Anita is a wonderful person and talented photographer. Please keep her in you thoughts and prayers. Anita, we’re looking forward to your speedy recovery and return to our blogging community!

Wow! This is one of the loveliest get well cards I have ever gotten. Earl, thank you for your kindness and thoughtfulness. All thoughts and prayers are welcomed with open arms. And, thank you, Monte and Don, for chiming in with more encouragement.
This is an ideal way to wrap up my evening. Now, I will drift off tonight with your image in my head, Earl. I am brimming with optimism. It seems a perfect mindset for the occasion.
