I’ve been captivated by sunflowers for a long time and enjoy making photos of them. However, it dawned on me that I haven’t given much thought to their history or broader influence. After reflecting on this, here are my musings. Sunflowers have a fascinating past that can be traced back to…

The photo shows the bare underside of an old cedar shingle roof, weathered and with a few areas that are prone to leaking. With time and moisture, the wood grains have been strengthened, and there is some discoloration on some of the cross pieces, which I suspect might be pine. I’d guess that those leaky…

Oh, this is going to be fun!!! I like this idea and excited to see the results of the S90. It really would have been cool to see your reflection in the eye, or can you?
Monte, thanks! I hope it’s fun…I certainly had fun making the photos and processing them. No, I was too straight on to catch my reflection. I believe the reflections in the eye is from the gound.
