A place to relax
A place to relax
My friend, Monte Stevens, travels and often shares photos of his coffee stops in his blog posts, so I thought I would share my most frequently visited “coffee stop” — our front porch. :-)

After an early morning walk of the dogs, I’ll sometimes slip out to sit and sip a fresh cup of coffee. This porch also seems to be an idea place for plants during the warmer months, with shade most of the day. I can’t take credit for the plants beyond an occasional watering — my wife, Bonnie, possesses the green thumb.

The place where the coffee is enjoyed most is an integral part of the experience. This looks like a great place to sit and enjoy the new day.

Don, It’s certainly a place where a few quiet moments are often enjoyed.

Even though I do not drink coffee, I can attest to comfortable atmosphere of this particular coffee spot! :-) I’ve been privileged to sit here in the shade, amongst the flora. :-)

Paul, yes you have. We’ll have to do it again this fall. It’s a great place to sit and talk when there’s the feeling of fall in the air.

Have a couple of questions: when are the hours of operation and does Bonnie make scones or muffins available?

I like this inviting scene and can see why you enjoy your coffee on the porch. You have mentioned needing roots and this image shows you have set them deep. Even though I like to experience as many coffee shops as possible, I do have a place of sanctuary back at my condo in Colorado. In fact it is one of the things I miss the most about home. If I was not heading to some location for morning photography, you would find me in the special chair, a homemade latte in hand and sitting in quiet. And, another image taken with the S90!

Monte, the hours are flexible and yes, on weekends, there are often scones or muffins available to go with the fresh hazelnut flavored coffee. ;-)

It would appear that you have one outstanding place to enjoy your coffee and a good book. If I had such a porch, I might just drink more coffee!

This looks like a wonderful place for a coffee and a book and a camera maybe. Sitting in the shadow, enjoying and recovering for maybe a new photo session is as good as it could get for me! And not having to tend the plants is probably the 2nd best thing – my own relationship with plants is molded more along nutrition facts…

people going for coffee not because of the coffee they like-
It is because of the ambience which attracts people sitting over there for hours
talks, chit chat with a cup of coffee at the right coffee house would be perfect
