Always an exciting time to watch various bits of nature waking and renewing. We have a big silver maple that I noticed buds on, not quite this developed, but visible in the canopy from the ground. But after a warm spell that melted our snow cover, it dipped again and snowed. This month is always a bit unpredictable, but after a rather cold “normal” winter here, some
change is welcomed.
Hope is a good thing, and I can definitely say that we’re closer to spring today than we were yesterday. Feel free to quote me on that! 🤔

I was noticing buds on trees today, also. A friend of mine says that tulips are popping up in his backyard. It all makes me smile. I just hope for rain! Enjoy those 70 degree days!

I doubt we’ve seen our last frost here, although last year’s spring was very early. I’m ready for some warmer weather myself.
It can’t get here soon enough as far as I’m concerned. Your photos give hope!

It seems you’ve had a fairly mild winter this year with less snow and rain than normal, right? Oh, I’ll enjoy those 70-degree days.
Yes, we are exceptionally dry. Dry weather like this could cause us to see a lot of fires this year.
