When we lived in Salisbury, NC, there was a section that had some grand old homes that were well kept and highly decorated for the Christmas holiday. I imagine they are still there and are probably being kept up, but we haven’t visited that area in years. As you can see, I pulled this image from my 2011 archives.





Excellent image! Lots of mystery in it. I like the quote as she speaks reason to me. I distance myself from those who think they think they know. Your images says it well, we need to live in more mystery.
The image is dark, but details can be seen if observed closely. The quote feels particularly relevant these days, considering some of the self-proclaimed geniuses we have to deal with. ;-)
