Shortly after take-off we discovered our seats were among a large group, on our side of the aircraft, which were electronically disconnected from the aircraft — no lights, no audio, no call button…zero, nothing and there were no overhead controls. Great image and I love that quote. I never saw rough in there.
Thank you, Monte!
I’ve always been amazed at how those trees, seemingly coming out of just rock, manage to survive! Great photo of it.
Thanks, Howard. It is incredible how nature seems not only to survive but to thrive in such harsh environments.
I’ve always loved images like this of trees growing from rocks. I also like the light and shadow here. So many different contrasting themes and of course the major one of “nature always finds a way.” Great photo.
Thanks, Mark. I’m always drawn to scenes like this, mostly because I’m constantly amazed by nature’s resilience and find a little hope in that fact.
