A FESTIVUS WISH: “I hope spending time with your family won’t undo all the progress you’ve made with your therapist.” – unknown
I like to keep busy during the period leading up to a holiday. I heard from several friends that birdwatching, or birding as they call it, was an excellent way to merge photography with exercise. I must be a natural at it because I’ve been watching this Christmas Cardinal for days and have seldom moved from my recliner. Humm…time to go for another cookie and hot chocolate: the exercise part! 🙄
I do like your cardinal. I may have to find one for our tree. And, I won’t need the long lens to photograph it.
No long lens is required. They’re easy to sneak up on. On our tree, it makes a nice accent piece. Have a great weekend, Joe.
I also love the cardinal. One of my favorite birds to watch and photograph while I worked in Columbus, Ohio. We do not have them out here. Sounds like you have a good bird blind setup so expecting more images here. As long as you’re getting in the exercise I wouldn’t change anything.
I’m practicing being very still and hardly moving so as not to scare the cardinal away. I do work in regular exercise, what with bathroom breaks and replenishing supplies. Balance, it’s all about balance.
