The other morning, there was a light fog, softening the autumn scenes of leaves still turning colors and finally dropping to the ground. I didn’t have to travel far; both of these photos were made in our backyard.
If you look at the dates on the photos, fogginess seems appropriate. I’m still grappling with the presidential election on November 5th. It saddens me that I so overestimated the decency of the American populace.
Beautiful images and well worth the effort to pick up your camera. I also feel the camera is a tool to get me out of my shock and fogginess at times. It connects me to nature who has a way of relieving me of my sadness. Well done!!
Thanks, Monte. Currently, it will take much more photography to relieve me of sadness. 😉
I’m grappling with the same issues, This is how you get to be a s**thole country overnight. Beautiful image.
Hi Ken, I fear we may spiral to that status in the next four years. Indeed, much of our political leadership is already at that level. Thanks for stopping by and for the comment. I hope you’re doing well.
I am doing well. For some reason, I stopped getting notifications of your new posts. That’s why I haven’t visited recently.
I recently learned of problems with new post notifications. I hope to have them fixed now, and I just checked to ensure you are subscribed. Thanks, and I’m glad to hear all is well.
The best kind of morning!
For sure, Joe!
