Impatiens bloom on green.

The Impatiens flower, also known as “Busy Lizzie,” has a rich history and symbolism. Its origins can be traced back to Africa and some parts of Asia. These delicate flowers hold significant meanings in different cultures around the world. In Eastern cultures, the Impatiens flower symbolizes motherly love, while in Western traditions, it represents patience and positivity.

They are beautiful enough to be the focus of photos without manipulation, but I wanted to add my little touches, as seen in these two photos.

“Impatiens” blooms on deep dark green.

Search for your own expression of a photographic subject is an entertaining way to spend some time while it’s hot outside.

Well done! Love the saturation and the colors. Interesting the represent patience but called impatiens, which literally means impatience. I love them.

Wow, those are vibrant aren’t they! Enjoy your July down there, Earl and I’ll try to do the same here and not complain too much about the humidity. :-)
