Another cool rainy day here on the mid-atlantic, right side of the country. I watched the live coverage today from MacWorld in San Francisco.
At the Keynote Address Apples’ Phil Schiller announced upgrades:
- iLife Software Suite (iPhoto, iMovie, iWeb, iDVD & Garage Band);
- iWork Software Suite (KeyNote, Pages & Numbers);
- available iTunes customer upgrades to high quality, 256-kbps AAC, DRM-free music; and
- a thin 17″ Unibody MacBook Pro Laptop with a new battery design that claims up to 8 hours run time.
There was also a new web service announced call “iWork.com” for sharing and collaborating documents. Apple is also changing it’s price structure of music on iTunes.
The software upgrades included some interesting technology such as GPS location integration and facial recognition capabilities.
However, nothing was announced on the much rumored new Mac Mini or iMac.
But then anyone can make up a rumor, can’t they! ;-)
