“How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you were?” ~ Satchel Paige
Well, I wouldn’t think myself to be 65…I don’t feel that age mentally or physically…but here I am. :-)
While I’ve been effectively retired the last 10 years I elected to waited to apply for “official retirement” till 65. Of course Medicare age is 65 as well. The sign-up process for both went smoothly. I even found a good affordable Medicare Supplemental Insurance and a Medicare Plan D for prescriptions thanks to a great recommendation from a friend.
So, it’s 65 and all’s good…I’m healthy and looking forward to the next 65. :-o
Congratulations on joing the ranks of medicare! I just passed that mile stone myself.
Congratulations, Earl. That’s a good place to be.
Welcome to the club, Earl!
Thanks, all!
It’s about time! I am always overwhelmed each fall when I get both the Medicare book and my supplemental plan D book. I’ve learned to look closely at what’s changed. Both will add and drop coverage. The best is to stay healthy! :-) But for now congratulations!
Healthy…that’s my goal! Thanks.
