I love Utah’s red rocks!
Those red rocks haven’t gotten old to us yet, Steve!
So did you find Jenny’s Canyon in there?
Not on this particular visit, Paul. It was spring break and the place was crawling with all these “human ants.” LOL Our home base is less then 30mins from there so perhaps on another day/visit.
Such a gorgeous landscape out there. I love the third shot here Brooks with the variety of rocks and layers.
It is ruggedly beautiful here, Mark. I’d agree with your choice of the third photo — makes me wish I knew a lot more about geology and geological formations. Thanks!
I, too, like the third image. The colors and layers does it for me. I have made two trips through the Colorado Plateau and loved it. I will make there again. One thing I noticed about the area is the places where you can find no “ants” and total quiet.
The third image certainly does run the gauntlet of textures and colors. Funny, it reminds me a bit of a landscaping service where they have all the different types and colors of rocks/gravel in piles…such a wide variety. I like those total quiet places!
