From exploring the Internet I’ve noticed many south-western U.S. photographers having images of old equipment or vehicles in their photo galleries. I suppose one reason is equipment lasts a long time outside in such dry climates and can exhibit very interesting and pleasing rust patterns.
The RV Park we stayed at in Santa Fe, NM, had numerous pieces of old equipment and vehicles located in the park. It appeared someone was a collector.
These are a few of the photos I came away with walking around the park with my camera.
I do understand what the interest is in this subject matter. I’m always fascinated by old vehicles and machines.
So, I had as much fun looking as photographing.
I think you need to keep the truck you have. :-)
