My first thought when I saw this image was that if it was in black and white it would look very much like rock surfaces I’m used to seeing out west. Isn’t it strange how our own experiences / memories affect our interpretation of someone else’s work. A very good photograph, EB, and very, very sharp. An iphone or EM1 image? If EM1, which lens?
Paul, thanks! Yes our cumulative experiences really define how we view things…at least initially. A good argument for seeing and experiencing as much as possible.
This is an iPhone 5s image…I had to go back into LR and confirm that fact. :-)

A wonderful abstract – at first glance I thought it was a double exposure. The colours and lines flow through the image very effectively. Great shot, Earl
