Come all ye bold sailors, and listen to me,

Barkin’ Bentley sails the oceans, as fierce as can be—
Give me some time to blow the dog down!

He’s got a black patch and a hat on his brow,
Yo ho, blow the dog down!
He hides at the thunder and howls at the prow—
Give me some time to blow the dog down!

He’s gnawed through the rigging and chewed on the wheel,
Yo ho, blow the dog down!
A terror to pirates, his bite you might feel—
Give me some time to blow the dog down!

So watch for his ship with the bone on its flag,
Yo ho, blow the dog down!
The scourge of the seas and the thief of your swag—
Give me some time to blow the dog down!

Bentley is more likely to steal your heart than anything else, but I didn’t want to tell him that and ruin his Halloween pirate persona he’s been working on. Hmm, come to think of it, he’s been working on it an awfully long time. 🤔
