Kyomi, New Beginning

Kyomi’s world changed forever three years ago when a car accident left her vision nothing more than a blur of dim, shifting shapes. What she feared would be an ending became, with time, a new beginning. Through perseverance, discipline, and countless tears, Kyomi rebuilt her life, trading a loss of sight for newfound self-confidence, determination, and a profound appreciation for living.

Supported by family, friends, and colleagues, she transitioned from a career in corporate law to advocating for people with disabilities as they confront an often discriminatory system.

Though small in stature and exuding an air of delicacy, Kyomi is shrewd and relentless—one never to be underestimated.

Oh wow!! I just love both the image and the story. This really shows your ability to tell stories in imagery and words. Sorry my friend but I’m gonna be expecting more!!!

I’m glad you like this, Monte. I’m experimenting with combining images and words to create something greater than either one alone. The series will be called “Life Frames,” and I currently plan to post one each Wednesday.
