‘Orange’ We Glad For Rain

Between a couple of rain showers this past weekend, I took a moment to make a few photos of the flowers in a pot out front of our house. Included among the flowers are West Indian Lantanas, Zinnia Elegans, and Petunias, all coordinated to an orange color theme. Of course, I’ve already confessed who the gardener is in our house.

Spectacular images and thanks for the laugh with the quote. 😊
Thanks, Pepper. I laughed when I saw this quote and had to share it. What makes it so funny is that it’s probably coined from a real experience.
Lovely flowers and images of the flowers. I do enjoy a few raindrops or dew on the leaves and petals of plants for photographs. And, tell Bonnie thanks for being the gardener!
These flowers seem to bloom all at once with the showers and were at their peak when I photographed them. I don’t want to heap too much praise on Bonnie; it will just inspire her to stop by the gardening store more often. I often end up being called to help water what she sets out. 😂
