Fanciful Friday: Minimalist Early Spring Trees

| | | | |

“Fanciful Friday” will be a day when I post images/photos/text that reflect where my mind has perhaps wandered during the week. The subject matter could be almost anything, and knowing me, it will be wide-ranging. I picked Friday (TGIF) because it’s the end of the week, and while it meant more to me when I was working, it still retains a little of its special quality even now that I’m retired.

Today’s Fanciful Friday is minimalist images of early-spring budding trees, inspired by an art piece I saw online a few weeks ago. After the image had stuck in my head for a while, I decided to try my hand at something similar; Imitation being the sincerest form of flattery and all. There are multiple images for a couple of reasons. Each tree has its own pattern, design and uniqueness, each being interesting. Also, using a common theme makes it more efficient to process multiple images simultaneously.

Everything you can imagine is real.

Color Pallette

Blue, yellow, and green—the dynamic trio that not only enchants the eye but can also elevate our spirits. Blue, the serene primary hue, embodies tranquility and depth. It invites calmness and clarity into any space, creating a refreshing atmosphere. On the other hand, yellow bursts forth with warmth and energy, radiating joy and optimism like sunshine breaking through the clouds.

Then there’s green, the stunning secondary color born from the union of blue and yellow. It symbolizes growth and renewal, perfectly capturing the balance between the coolness of blue and the vibrant cheer of yellow. When these colors come together, they create a harmonious, lively palette that inspires feelings of balance and serenity and is sure to bring positivity and life to an image!

Or, at least I hoped they would.

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!
