After a week of near-normal depressing news, I wanted to create something positive, pleasant, and spring-like. I also wanted to experiment a little more with the Art Nouveau style, and I’ve seen that it works well with portraits. So here is my result. I hope everyone has a good weekend.

The history of winemaking, the acquisition of skills for judging wines, and the casual intimate social experience all contribute to it’s overall appeal. When these factors come together wine tasting can be an enjoyable social experience even for those, who like me, are trivial wine drinkers.

I finished photographing the 22 local churches selected for the 2013 calendar of the agency I work for. I’m now post processing the images to black-and-white as well as removing unavoidable obstructions from the images…signs, power lines, light poles, etc. I’m having a little easier time of it this year as only a couple of the churches were on main city streets with all that brings.
